Tea Mountains<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Tea House Experience<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Final Thoughts<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\ud83d\ude84 From Chiayi to Taipei<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We took the Taiwan High Speed Rail at 8 AM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Fast<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Comfortable<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Very easy to use<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It felt similar to the Shinkansen in Japan\u2014smooth and stress-free.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udc49 In just about 1.5 hours, the scenery completely changed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\ud83c\udfd9 First Impressions of Taipei<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Compared to Chiayi, Taipei feels much more urban.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Tall buildings everywhere<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Dense streets and advertisements<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Lots of convenience stores and shopping areas<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udc49 You immediately feel like you\u2019ve arrived in a major city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\ud83e\udd62 Breakfast at Yong He Soy Milk King<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the most iconic Taiwanese breakfast spots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We tried:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Savory soy milk soup<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Fried dough sticks<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Sweet soy milk drinks<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Turnip cake<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Egg crepes (danbing)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udc49 Everything was soft, chewy, and perfectly paired with soy sauce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Taiwanese soy sauce is interesting\u2014<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>slightly thick, slightly sweet, and full of depth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\ud83c\udfdb Visiting Sun Yat-sen &amp;
